Students from the Computer Engineering Department have built InternHub, a web application designed to streamline internship applications.
This platform connects students and employers, enabling students to search and apply for internships online while allowing employers to post opportunities and review applications.
Joseph Owusu Gyimah, Samuel Konadu Anyomi, and Emmanuel Asidigbe developed InternHub under the supervision of Dr. Bright Yeboah-Akowuah. Utilizing modern web technologies, the system offers smooth navigation. Students can create profiles and filter internship listings based on their skills or interests.
Employers can easily manage accounts, post offers, and track applications.
The platform also features user login, application tracking, notifications, and alerts.
InternHub addresses the challenge of a fragmented internship search process.
By creating this central platform, the students have established an organized space for students and employers to connect, improving the overall experience for both.
The creators envision InternHub benefiting tertiary institutions nationwide, offering a model for other universities and colleges to adopt.
